You control optional analytics and advertising code. Open “Cookie settings” in the footer to review your choices.
1. Why cookies are used
A cookie is a small record a browser stores for a website and may send with later requests. Here, essential records connect requests to your session and remember your optional-technology choices. They do not contain your account password in readable form.
2. Essential website records
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
retrodock_session | Session, sign-in, form protection, and captcha challenge | Session cookie; behavior on closing also depends on the browser’s session-restoration settings |
rd_consent | Your analytics and advertising choices | Up to 180 days after saving your choice |
These records support website functions. Blocking all cookies in the browser may prevent sign-in and protected forms from working correctly.
3. Optional analytics
When configured by the administrator, analytics tools help understand how sections and pages are used. Their code is included after consent to analytics. Depending on the configuration, these may include Yandex Metrica, Google Analytics, or another provider explicitly identified by the operator.
The final policy must list the tools actually connected, their cookie names, and retention periods. Provider information is available in the Yandex policy and Google policy.
4. Advertising
Advertising-network code is handled separately from ordinary banner images. Optional ad code is permitted through the “Advertising” choice. A local banner without a tracking script may still appear if you decline this choice. Following an advertiser’s link opens an external website whose owner sets its conditions.
5. Changing your choice
Select “Cookie settings” in the footer, change the checkboxes, and save. You may keep only essential records. The page reloads after saving so subsequent connections follow your new preferences.
Unchecking an option does not retrieve information already sent to an external provider. If necessary, cookies previously created by that provider can be removed in your browser settings. Deleting all website cookies resets your saved choice and may end your signed-in session.
6. Other local data
Game saves and player preferences may use the browser’s own local storage when the relevant player supports it. They serve gameplay functions; clearing website data may delete these local records. States saved to an account on the server are managed separately.
